Cartons used

From the smallest to the largest format, all our cardboard boxes are stamped RESY, meaning that this packaging is entirely recyclable. We even sometimes reuse certain cardboard boxes in perfect condition and give them a new lease of life for a new shipment!
Packing particles

For many products shipped in cardboard, we use polystyrene chips with a recycling rate of at least 90%, with high cushioning properties and low compaction to hold and protect your precious objects. The low weight of these polystyrene chips reduces transport costs.
Preparation time is subject to availability of items.
Shipping costs include preparation and packaging costs, as well as postage costs. The preparation costs are fixed, while the shipping costs vary according to the total weight of the package. It is important to note that the total weight of the parcel estimated by Déco Alsace is not binding, the real and valid weight being that given by the carrier.
We recommend that you combine all your items into one order. We cannot combine two separately placed orders and shipping charges will apply to each.
Delivery is made to the address specified by you when placing your order. It is carried out by the carrier according to your choice and the compatibility of the carrier with the order.
The times indicated are the usual average times and correspond to the processing and delivery times.
Déco Alsace cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a delay in delivery. The dimensions of the packaging are appropriate, and your articles are correctly protected.
Although we pay particular attention to packaged and dispatched products, especially fragile products, it is imperative that you check the parcel on receipt.
If you receive a damaged and/or opened parcel since:
- For a Point Relais (collection within 7 days), refuse the parcel, take a photo of the damage and enter a reserve for damaged parcel.
- For a Point Relais locker (collection within 7 days), accept the parcel, take a photo of the damage, collect it, then contact us immediately.
- For a Post Office (collection within 8 days), refuse the parcel, take a photo of the damage and report a damaged parcel.
In the absence of any specific indication from the carrier, you have a period of 3 days from receipt of your parcel to report any damage to Déco Alsace.
After this period, the goods will be deemed to have been accepted and no claim may be made (Article L133-3 of the French Commercial Code).
Some countries (Australia, Canada, China, United States, Colombia, Guadeloupe, French Guyana, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Martinique, Mayotte, Norway, New Caledonia, Chinese G.A.R., Hong Kong, Reunion, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Ukraine) are subject to customs declarations. As the sender, we make the CN23 Customs declarations for these countries. However, you will have to pay the duties and taxes in force when your parcel arrives in these countries.
At any time, thanks to the parcel number communicated to you by email and by the carrier available in your Customer Account under the heading Your Orders, you can track your parcel by connecting to the carrier's website to find out where it is.
In the case of items that can be delivered on different dates due to their availability, the delivery period is based on the longest period.
- Déco Alsace reserves the right to split deliveries. The cost of processing and dispatch will only be invoiced for a single shipment. In this case, an e-mail will be sent to you.
- If the carrier is absent or unable to deliver your parcel (no caretaker, etc.), you will receive an email informing you that your parcel will be made available at a post office or your postman will leave a delivery notice giving the date and address of the post office where you can collect your parcel on presentation of proof of identity.
- From the date indicated on the delivery notice, you have 8 days to collect your postal parcel (7 days in a Point Relais and/or Locker). Once this period has elapsed, the parcel will no longer be accessible and will automatically be returned to our depot by the carrier, resulting in return costs and reshipment costs to be paid by the customer. You will then receive notification by e-mail.
- We invite you to contact us via the contact page in order to send you a credit card payment link to pay for the return and re-shipment costs. In the event of an order cancellation, the order will be reimbursed, minus the return shipping costs payable by you.
- After a period of 2 months (60 days) without a response after the return of the package, a flat rate of €10 TTC will be applied for the management and search of the package.
- In the event of an incomplete or erroneous address resulting in a delivery error by the carrier, the parcel will be redirected within 7 days to Déco Alsace and you will be notified by e-mail. The return costs are entirely at the customer's expense and will be re-billed for a new delivery or deducted from the amount paid if the order is cancelled.
- Delivery is made to the address specified by you when placing your order. It is carried out by the carriers proposed above according to your choice and the compatibility of the carrier with the order. The times indicated are average times and correspond to the processing and delivery times.
You are legally responsible for the correct reception of emails and SMS received from your mobile phone.
Please check that you have received the emails sent by Déco Alsace and that you have received the SMS messages from the carriers in force. If necessary, remember to check your Spam/unwanted box.
All carriers use the email address and mobile phone number provided to enable you to track, receive and forward your parcel.
Déco Alsace cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a delay in delivery.
Delivery problems with another carrier
In the event of a delay in delivery, which must be at least 7 days after departure from our premises in Obernai, please inform us via the contact page, indicating your order number. This will enable our services to request an investigation from the carrier responsible for the delivery.
This investigation may take up to 15 days from its initiation. If the product is found during this period, it will immediately be sent back to your home address or to the relay point you specified, which is usually the case. On the other hand, if the product is not found within the 15-day investigation period, the carrier will consider the parcel lost.
After this period, Déco Alsace will reship the goods ordered, or issue a refund if one of the references is out of stock in our shop.
Déco Alsace cannot be held responsible for the non-receipt of your SMS or email messages (due to spam, saturated inbox, deactivation, input errors, etc.), nor for delays in delivery attributable to the carrier, particularly in the event of loss of goods, strikes, weather conditions unfavourable to distribution, or non-payment of duties and taxes on exported products. Consequently, no refund or compensation will be granted.
For all relay point deliveries, no dispute relating to the delivery itself is possible if the parcel appears to have been delivered or proof of signature supporting the carrier, the computer system (flashing) of the carrier being authentic.
Delivery problems with the Post Office
In the event of a delay in delivery, which must be at least 7 days after departure from our premises in Obernai, please inform us via the contact page, indicating your order number. This will enable our services to request an investigation from the carrier responsible for the delivery.
This investigation may take up to 90 days from its initiation. If the product is found during this period, it will immediately be sent back to your home address or to the relay point you specified, which is usually the case. On the other hand, if the product is not found within the 90-day investigation period, the carrier will consider the parcel lost.
After this period, Déco Alsace will reship the goods ordered, or issue a refund if one of the references is out of stock in our shop.
Déco Alsace cannot be held responsible for the non-receipt of your SMS or email messages (due to spam, saturated inbox, deactivation, input errors, etc.), nor for delays in delivery attributable to the carrier, particularly in the event of loss of goods, strikes, weather conditions unfavourable to distribution, or non-payment of duties and taxes on exported products. Consequently, no refund or compensation will be granted.
For delivery by recorded delivery letter in a letterbox, no dispute relating to the delivery itself (strike, theft from letterboxes, etc.) is possible if the recorded delivery letter appears to have been delivered, as evidenced by La Poste's computer system (flashing).
