The company joins Maison Alélor, specialists in condiments since 1873.
Domaine des Terres Rouges is based on respect for three virtuous values: artisanal, local and quality production. The mustard factory works in partnership with the Alsace Chamber of Agriculture to support the local farming industry and maintain a short, sustainable supply chain.



A partnership with around twenty farmers means that mustard seeds are still grown in the region. The mustards are traditionally prepared using as many local ingredients as possible.
The mustard seeds are mixed with verjuice, a mixture of water, vinegar, salt and spices. They are then finely ground on a stone millstone.
Horseradish is made from 100% horseradish roots grown in Alsace, close to the company. Each root is sorted and cut by hand, before being ground and seasoned to make a condiment with a pungent, aromatic taste.
