Spaetzle of Alsace Grand-Mother
(€15.60 / kilos)
Product details
Made in Alsace
Spaetzle from Alsace, like Knepfle from Alsace, is an Alsatian speciality that differs from other types of pasta in that it is made from a liquid dough, a mixture of eggs (7 fresh eggs per kilo) and durum wheat semolina that passes through a sieve and falls into boiling water to be cooked. Thicker and more irregular in appearance, this is "pasta for a change".
Spaetzle from Alsace Grand-Mother has an inimitable flavour: delicious with the finest dishes such as Boeuf Bourguignon, game, fresh salmon or foie gras, this pasta will also surprise you in a gratin or served with a touch of butter and a few well-chosen mushrooms.
Our preparation advice

Pour the pasta into a large volume of boiling salted water.
(1 litre of water for 100g of pasta).

Cook for 17 minutes stirring regularly during cooking.

Drain carefully
