Alsatian Craftsmanship of Excellence
Pork cheek is a lean meat, a fine and unctuous piece which does not require any particular preparation but a long cooking: the cheek likes to simmer gently in a casserole (about 1h30) simmered with a Pinot Noir, a fine and balanced wine with beautiful fruit notes which perfectly matches the delicacy of the Pork Cheek Nuts. This regional Alsatian product combines traditional craftsmanship with the subtlety of Burgundy wines to create a complete and flavourful dish.
A really complete meal for 2 people to be prepared with Spaetzles or Knepfles as we enjoy at home. This traditional Alsatian recipe celebrates regional products, perfect for a family meal or gathering with friends.
