Fresh eggs and durum wheat from France

Knepfles are typically Alsatian pasta that cook golden-brown in a pan in butter and are the ideal accompaniment to game: Stew of Marcassin, Roe deer or Hare. Their original shape lends itself to all kinds of culinary creations.

The Knepfles are a somewhat less well-known Alsatian specialty than their cousins, the Spaetzles, just as tasty. These pastas also benefit from PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), which guarantees their regional authenticity and superior quality.

Composed of a selection of the finest durum wheat varieties and 7 fresh eggs per kilo, Knepfles are ideal to accompany game stew. Their particularly firm texture and light colour make them a pasta of great quality.

They can also be sautéed in a pan with finely chopped onions, smoked bacon and cream sauce, resulting in a delicious and flavourful dish.

Valfleuri, historical Alsatian pasta manufacturer for generations, continues to delight us with a varied range of traditional production. This house of excellence preserves the authentic knowledge of Alsatian terroir.

Their particularly firm texture and light colour make them one of the specialties most appreciated by gourmets, lending themselves to numerous culinary recipes and gastronomic accompaniments.
