Product details

Made in Alsace

The juices are very rare on the fir trees, the harvest of this honey is of protected Geographical indication, and therefore particularly difficult and its low productivity. Fir honeys of this quality are very rare, which explains the higher price.

Made from honeydew deposited on the branches of fir trees, Honey has a balsamic and malty smell and aromas, moderately persistent in the mouth, without bitterness or aftertaste.

Dark in color, fir honey has surprising dark green reflections, a strongly aromatic smell, a liquid consistency and an exquisite, balsamic and malty aroma. It tastes surprisingly unsweetened for honey.

Our honeys are labeled I.G.P Alsace (Protected geographical indication). It is a European sign of origin and quality. Our products therefore benefit from the Miel d'Alsace appellation.

Suggestion: Ideal for flavoring and sweetening cottage cheese, it will also enhance your sweet / savory culinary preparations: duck breast, roast pork.
