Coming directly from the Beekeeper in Châtenois (Bas Rhin) and member of the Regional Confederation of Beekeepers of Alsace, this fir honey guarantees uncompromising quality.

The Alsace Fir Honey benefits from a Protected Geographical Identification (PGI) guaranteeing its Alsatian origin and specificity. This certification ensures that only Alsatian honeys from harvests meeting strict criteria can bear this prestigious appellation.

The PGI specification sets out the rigorous production and processing rules. It is regularly checked by an independent certification body ensuring continuous compliance.

Recognised by this PGI, only honey produced in Alsace in accordance with the specifications laid down can be called Miel d'Alsace. Alsatian beekeepers are members of the Defence and Management Body (ODG) for Honey from Alsace.

The supplier shall endeavour through appropriate organisational measures and regular cleaning of the mixing and feeding systems to keep the risk of infiltration of potentially allergenic substances as low as possible.

Measures are in place to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, however, a guarantee of total absence of traces cannot be provided.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light to preserve all the gustatory and aromatic qualities of the honey.
