The Alsatian Baeckeoffe with 3 meats in Twist 750 gr jars (meaning «baker's oven») is a typically traditional Alsatian specialty and dish whose preparation and marinade takes over 24 hours to develop all the flavours.
Cooked in an earthenware terrine (called Baeckeoffe mould), this authentic regional dish is composed of several French meats (tender pork shoulder, savoury beef neck and mutton) and fresh vegetables (carrot, leek, onion and potatoes) in a marinade made with Alsatian white wine and traditional spices.
A complete and gastronomic dish for two people with vegetables and melt-in-the-mouth meat, prepared according to ancestral Alsatian recipes. Perfect for a family meal or gathering with friends, this Baeckeoffe offers an authentic culinary experience of the Alsatian terroir.
