Alsatian Handcrafted Manufacture
Unique decoration object representing an Alsatian handcrafted in red earthenware for your interior decoration or to decorate a Christmas tree. This decorative subject combines Alsatian tradition with regional authenticity.
The Alsatian, hung by its Cord, is made from fired red earthenware which, after drying, undergoes a first firing between 950° and 1100°, called a "Biscuit". This fundamental step ensures the strength and durability of the piece.
After applying the glaze or enamel, the second firing is carried out at a lower temperature than the "Biscuit" and corresponds to the specific characteristics of the brilliant red. This traditional Alsatian process gives each object its timeless charm and elegance.
The Alsatian decorative subject is a unique piece, made 100% by hand in Alsace. Enjoy regional craftsmanship and local work with this authentic Obernai souvenir. Hanging by a Cord, it will easily find its place in your home or festive displays.
