The gnome is a small legendary humanoid creature from European folklore, 35 cm tall and grey in colour, wearing a large grey-white knitted hat and a white beard.
He is often confused with elves and goblins, who like him are part of the little people. These fantastical creatures embody the magic and mysteries of Alsatian heritage and European traditions.
Paracelsus, in the 16th century, includes him in his list of elementals, as an earth elemental. It is characterised by a very small size, a subterranean life, and a great knowledge of telluric secrets. This decorative object will bring a poetic and folkloric touch to your interior.
