The Gnome is a legendary little humanoid creature from European folklore, with a big white beard and a big red knitted hat with white spots. He measures 15 cm, so you can put him up or decorate your home.
He is often confused with elves and goblins, who like him are part of the little people.
Paracelsus, in the 16th century, includes him in his list of elementals, as an earth elemental.
It is characterised by a very small size, a subterranean life, and a great knowledge of telluric secrets.
