Blue Snail Dish 12 holes from Soufflenheim made from Clay from the Forest of Haguenau, handcrafted and hand painted decorated with Daisies in the Pottery Workshops of Soufflenheim in Alsace.

With its twelve compartments specially designed to hold the snails and their garlic butter or directly the qouille containing the preparation, it is ideal for tasting this Alsatian culinary speciality.

Local craftsmanship from Soufflenheim, guaranteed 100% lead-free.

Clean your snail dish with warm water and a sponge or brush (non-metallic) and washing-up liquid. Once dry, store your dish in a dry, well-ventilated place.

You can sometimes see very thin cracks in the enamel in the 12-hole Snail Dish. These micro-cracks are essential if the clay in the pottery is to expand and contract without breaking. They are more or less visible depending on the piece and the colour, and become more pronounced with time and use.
