Guy Unterneiner is an Alsatian painter, illustrator, and artist, born on June 23, 1957, in Phalsbourg, Lorraine. A self-taught artist, Guy Unterneiner initially trained as a pastry chef in Strasbourg but quickly felt the need to dedicate himself to his passion for drawing and illustration.

Today, Guy Unterneiner is recognised as one of the leading figures of contemporary Alsatian art. He lives and works in his native Alsace, continuing to create works that celebrate the culture, traditions, and picturesque landscapes of the region. His illustrations captivate lovers of Alsatian souvenirs and authentic home decoration.
