Yes, this glass is dishwasher safe. However, it is recommended that you wash it by hand, as the tablets and powders used in dishwashers are corrosive and can damage the glass over time.
What colour is the foot?
The colour of the stem is light green. Legend has it that these glasses first appeared in the 19ᵉ century. At the time, winegrowers favoured quantity over quality, resulting in wines with a green tinge, a sign of unripe grapes. To disguise this defect, winegrowers served their wine in green stemmed glasses on the pretext that their slightly greenish colour came from the glass and not the wine.
