A History Born from the Post-War Era

The Colmar Wine Fair finds its origins in 1948, in the context of economic and social reconstruction that characterised the post-war years in Alsace. This first edition, modest compared to the scale the event would later achieve, met a local desire to give Alsatian wine production renewed visibility.

Continuous Growth Towards Today's Major Event

Over the decades, the Colmar Wine Fair has continued to grow in scale and reputation, gradually becoming one of France's most important wine events.
