This Strawberry Liqueur from Alsace boasts a long finish with a distinctly fruity nose. It pairs beautifully with fresh strawberries sprinkled with sugar or served with Chantilly cream and vanilla ice cream. Enjoy it chilled as an aperitif in the style of a Kir with a Riesling or fresh Crémant.
The Meyer Distillery, located in the charming Alsatian village of Hohwarth, was established in 1958 by Fridolin Meyer. Originally specializing in local fruit distillation, it expanded in 2007 to produce high-quality whiskies, including single malts and blends.
This strawberry liqueur exemplifies the venerable tradition of Alsatian digestives. Alongside Marc de Gewurztraminer, Williams Pear, Raspberry and other regional specialties, it embodies authentic Alsatian craftsmanship. Principal offerings also include Mirabelle plum, Kirsch, Quetsches, Pine Liqueur, Blueberries, Violet, Gentian, Wild Plum and Alisier.
This regional liqueur distinguishes itself through refinement and harmonious flavour. Produced in Alsace using traditional methods, it represents an excellent choice for connoisseurs of authentic spirits and fruity flavours.
