The Alsace Rhine Crystal White Wine Glasses are specially designed for tasting Alsace White Wines thanks to their shape which allows better aeration and optimal distribution of aromas. These regional glasses embody the excellence of Alsatian wine glass tradition.
They are perfectly adapted to grape varieties such as Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer, the most prestigious varieties from the Rhine Valley.
The Crystalline used in the manufacture of these glasses is a high quality material that ensures excellent shock resistance and long service life. Their fineness and lightness make them pleasant to use, and they are easy to clean thanks to their dishwasher resistance, although it is always better to wash them by hand to preserve their brilliance.
These Rhine Crystal White Wine Glasses from Alsace are an elegant and practical choice for wine lovers who want to fully enjoy their favourite Alsatian White Wines. High quality regional products that invite you on a genuine taste journey.
Yes, this glass is dishwasher safe. However, it is recommended that you wash it by hand, as the tablets and powders used in dishwashers are corrosive and can damage the crystal glass over time.
The colour of the stem is dark green. Legend has it that these glasses first appeared in the 19th century. At the time, winegrowers favoured quantity over quality, resulting in wines with a greenish tinge, a sign of unripe grapes. To disguise this defect, winegrowers served their wine in green stemmed glasses on the pretext that their slightly greenish colour came from the glass and not the wine.
Illuminate your table with the Traditional Alsace Wine Glasses. By their elegant simplicity, they will bring an original touch and a joyful atmosphere to your table, perfect for entertaining in Alsace.
