Prepare an authentic Kougelhopf d'Alsace Salé (800 gr or 8 mini-Kougelhopf) from the Petit Alsacien to enjoy with family or friends very easily thanks to the Kougelhopf Salé Preparation Kit developed by Pastry chefs Fanny and Fabrice.
The Kougelhopf is essentially a yeast brioche distinguished by its characteristic Alsatian mold shape. This culinary specialty has long been considered a celebratory cake, prepared for multiple festive occasions. Today, it is commonly enjoyed for breakfast in its sweet version and as an aperitif in its savoury version, making it a true institution of Alsatian Gastronomy.
Nothing could be simpler to achieve success. Fanny and Fabrice, our passionate pastry chefs, have thought of every detail: dry ingredients are precisely weighed and packaged in numbered sachets. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions, add lukewarm water and a little fat, and you are assured of creating a delicious masterpiece that will delight your guests.
We have selected for you authentic Kougelhopf Molds from the renowned Soufflenheim pottery to help you successfully prepare your Salted Kougelhopf or sweet version.
For the preparation of Alsatian Salted Kougelhopf, you can use either a food processor or a bread machine for maximum convenience. You can also enhance your recipe with bacon, ham, olives, cheese, salmon, fresh herbs or dried tomatoes according to your preferences.
The Kougelhopf Salé Alsacien Preparation Kit is available in French, German and English for easy preparation by a wide audience.

Allergies: Contains gluten, eggs, nuts. Possible traces of milk, soya and sulphites.
Made in a workshop that uses dairy products.

- 170 ml lukewarm water
- 100 g Butter or Margarine at room temperature
