This authentic Alsatian card game is composed of 4 suits: Spades, Diamonds, Clubs and Hearts and features 54 different Alsatian designs showcasing monuments, historic squares and iconic locations throughout the region.
The figure cards, represented by kings, queens and jacks, display beautifully illustrated Alsatian landscapes and architecture. Discover unique representations of Obernai, Eguisheim, Kaysersberg and Ribeauvillé with every card drawn.
Why 54 cards in a game ?
The theory suggests that all the points combined from the 52 cards in a standard deck total 364. By adding a joker, one reaches 365 days, making up the entire year. With two jokers, as is customary, you get 54 cards and 366 points, including the leap year. This card game becomes a symbolic and perfect object.
Perfect for adults and children, this game enables playing Seven Families, strategy games and observation and memory challenges. Compact format: 8.8 cm x 6.3 cm, ideal for taking anywhere. An authentic Alsace gift and original Alsace souvenir at affordable prices.
