The lime blossom honey from Châtenois benefits from a Protected Geographical Indication, a quality and authenticity label recognised at European level.

The Alsace lime blossom honey benefits from a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) guaranteeing its production origin in Alsace and its taste specificity. This certification distinguishes products manufactured according to strictly defined quality criteria.

The PGI specification establishes the rules of production, origin and implementation. This document guarantees compliance with Alsatian beekeeping traditions.

It is regularly inspected by an independent certification body, ensuring ongoing compliance with the demanding PGI standards.

Recognised by this PGI, only honey produced in Alsace according to the specifications established can bear the official designation Miel d'Alsace.

Alsatian beekeepers are grouped within the Organisme de Défense et de Gestion (ODG) for Honey from Alsace, a collective body guaranteeing excellence and authenticity.

Net Weight : 250 gr

The supplier shall endeavour through appropriate organisational measures and regular cleaning of the mixing and feeding systems to keep the risk of infiltration of potentially allergenic substances as low as possible.

Measures are in place to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, however, a guarantee of total absence of traces cannot be provided.

Storage : Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light to preserve all product qualities.
