Protected Geographical Indication

Lime Honey from Châtenois has a Protected Geographical Indication.

The Alsace Lime Blossom Honey has been awarded a Protected Geographical Identification (PGI) guaranteeing its origin and specificity. 

The PGI specification sets out the production rules. 

They are regularly checked by a certification body.

Recognised by this PGI, only honey produced in Alsace in accordance with the specifications laid down can be called Miel d'Alsace.

Alsatian beekeepers are members of the Organisme de defence and management body (ODG) for Honey from Alsace.

Net weight: 250 gr

The supplier shall endeavour through appropriate organisational measures and regular cleaning of the mixing and feeding systems to keep the risk of infiltration of potentially allergenic substances as low as possible.

Measures are in place to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, however, a guarantee of total absence of traces cannot be provided.

Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
