The potteries of Soufflenheim are fired at more than 1000°C, these potteries are of high quality and will withstand the baking of your oven without any worries. They are also suitable in the microwave and in the dishwasher.

All the lids of the Baeckeoffe cooking terrines also have a hole allowing natural drainage during cooking, a guarantee of Soufflenheim quality.

Note : The dimensions of the Baeckeoffe moulds indicated are carried out from the outside, or from the handles of the mould.

Note : Sometimes you can see very thin cracks in the glaze of the Baeckeoffe terrine. These micro-cracks are essential if the clay in the pottery is to expand and contract without breaking. They are more or less visible depending on the piece and the colour, and become more pronounced with time and use.

A natural shrinkage of pottery ranging from 2 to 8% is completely normal due to the phenomenon of evaporation of water being transformed into gas, causing the molecules to move closer together.

It can also happen that a lack of paint can occur under the handles of the mould by turning it over, this is not a defect because everything is covered with the protective varnish and does not present an aesthetic lack because it is located under the handles and not visible.
