Acacia Honey Alsace, Excellence in Alsatian Beekeeping
The Acacia Honey, true spring honey harvested in Alsace, is a globally recognised beekeeping excellence. With very light and brilliant color, this monofloral variety displays a supple and generous texture. Its sweet and discreet fragrance is accompanied by a subtle and sweet taste, delicately reminiscent of the black locust flower in full bloom.
As monofloral par excellence, this Alsatian honey is clear, limpid and pale yellow. The delicate aroma and sweet flavor, typical of white flower honey, offer a very sweet taste experience, free from acidity and bitterness, with light persistence on the palate. Each spoonful tells the story of Alsatian orchards in springtime.
Its exceptional richness in fructose is higher than in other honey varieties, which gives Acacia Honey great natural sweetening power and a lower glycemic index. This peculiarity makes it the preferred choice for Alsatian gourmets attentive to quality and natural benefits.

Protected Geographical Indication Alsace
Coming directly from the beekeeper established in Châtenois, Bas Rhin, this acacia honey comes from a professional who is an active member of the Regional Confederation of Beekeepers of Alsace. This recognition testifies to his commitment to regional beekeeping excellence.
The Acacia Honey Alsace benefits from a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) rigorously guaranteeing its production origin, gustatory specificity and unique organoleptic characteristics. This European certification distinguishes genuine Alsatian honeys from generic products.
The PGI specification establishes precise rules for production, harvesting and packaging. Each batch is regularly inspected by an independent certification body guaranteeing compliance with quality standards.
Recognised by this prestigious PGI, only honey produced in Alsace, according to the specification laid down, can legally bear the designation Miel d'Alsace. This protection ensures consumers the authenticity and complete traceability of the product.
Alsatian beekeepers are grouped within the Organisme de Défense et de Gestion (ODG) for Alsace Honeys, a collective structure promoting regional beekeeping excellence and the enhancement of secular traditions.
Net weight : 250 grams
The supplier shall endeavour through appropriate organisational measures and regular cleaning of the mixing and feeding systems to keep the risk of infiltration of potentially allergenic substances as low as possible.
Preventive measures are in place to reduce cross-contamination risks, however a guarantee of total absence of allergen traces cannot be provided.
Storage : Store in a cool and dry place, protected from direct light and moisture.
