Forest Honey Alsace is harvested on the edge of woodlands and bears the designation Protected Geographical Indication. It is liquid, dark in colour, almost black. This polyfloral honey comes directly from the Alsatian beekeeper, guaranteeing authentic quality and traditional craftsmanship.
With its very dark brown colour, this honey presents a characteristic caramel aroma, composed of a sophisticated blend of various nectars and honeydews, quite persistent on the palate.
It is characterised by a particular taste, combining floral flavours as well as woody aromas of resinous type, typical of the flowers of the Vosges forest.
To experience all the scents of a walk in the Alsatian mountains, this natural product offers a unique and refined tasting experience.

Culinary suggestion: Ideal for flavouring and sweetening cottage cheese, it will also enhance your sweet and savoury culinary preparations, particularly duck breast, roast pork, or delicious sauces.
Coming directly from the beekeeper in Châtenois (Bas Rhin) and member of the Regional Confederation of Beekeepers of Alsace. The Alsace Forest Honey PGI benefits from strict certification guaranteeing the excellence of the product.
The Alsace Forest Honey has been awarded a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) guaranteeing its origin of production and specificity. This European label certifies that only honey produced in Alsace in accordance with the specification laid down can be called Miel d'Alsace.
The PGI specification establishes the strict rules for production and operation.
It is regularly inspected by an approved certification body, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
