Our Twisted Noodles Alsace Grandma have a generous, harmonious shape that curls around itself to better capture the flavours of the vegetables, the strength of the spices and the creaminess of the sauces with which you decide to accompany them. Made from a selection of the best hard wheat and 7 fresh eggs per kilo, they represent Alsatian culinary excellence.
Their particularly firm texture and light colour make them one of the most popular specialities with gourmets and lovers of regional gastronomy. These old-fashioned hand-kneaded noodles lend themselves to numerous traditional and modern recipes, from fleischschnacka to veal blanquette.
The Alsace Torsades are suitable for most palates and can be prepared as a single dish or as an accompaniment to meat, fish or seafood. They are a must for any authentic Alsatian table.
Pour the twisted noodles into a large volume of boiling salted water.
(1 litre of water for 100g of pasta).
Cook for 7 minutes (firm) stirring regularly during cooking for an al dente texture.
Drain your noodles carefully before serving
