"S'Liewe isch nit immer Rose" - A song about the difficulty of life and the fact that not everything is easy, but you have to have hope.
"Elsass, Du mein Heimatland" - A song that celebrates Alsace and its culture, evoking the landscapes, traditions and people of the region.
"Ach, du lieber Augustin" - Although this song is of Austrian origin, it is also very popular in Alsace. It tells the story of a street musician who falls ill during a plague epidemic.

"Männerchörli" - A humorous song that parodies male choirs and tells the story of a group of clumsy singers.
There are of course many other folk songs in Alsace, but these give a good overview of the diversity of themes in the traditional music of the region.
