The Hansi Bookmark featuring Yerri, Dalla Stampa the Bambola is a reading accessory made from certified PEFC paper manufactured in France, sourced from the prestigious Collection of the Hansi Museum in Obernai. As its name suggests, this bookmark allows you to mark a page of a book, that is to say to distinguish this page from the others so you can find it later, without damaging your book.

About Hansi: Jean-Jacques Waltz, alias Hansi or Uncle Hansi, is a French illustrator and artist born in Colmar in Alsace. In 1894, his father sent him to Lyon to study industrial design, as well as painting and decorative arts. After his stay in Lyon, he returned to Alsace where he became famous as a postcard artist. The motifs of his illustrations often combine idyllic village scenes with biting anti-German caricatures. While at first glance his illustrations appear to be innocent scenes of Alsatian life, closer observation reveals an aversion to the Germans that was to become Hansi's trademark.
PEFC Paper: PEFC paper (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) is certified paper that comes from responsibly managed forests. It is therefore environmentally friendly and durable over time, perfect for a quality Alsatian souvenir.
