Prepare a genuine Alsatian Sweet Kougelhopf (800 gr or 8 mini-Kougelhopf) from Petit Alsacien brand to enjoy with family or friends with ease, thanks to the Alsatian Sweet Kougelhopf Preparation Kit developed by pastry chefs Fanny and Fabrice.
The Kougelhopf is actually a yeast brioche whose characteristic appearance comes from its traditional Kougelhopf mould. This Alsatian specialty has long been a celebratory cake, prepared for various occasions. Nowadays, it is mainly enjoyed at breakfast in its sweet version and as an aperitif in its savoury variant.
The Kougelhopf represents a true institution of Alsatian gastronomy, appreciated far beyond the region's borders.
Nothing is easier than preparing this emblematic cake. Fanny and Fabrice, our passionate pastry chefs, have thought of everything: The dry ingredients are precisely weighed and packaged in numbered bags. You simply follow the detailed instructions, add a little water and fat, and you are guaranteed to create masterpieces that will delight your guests.
We have selected a complete range of Kougelhopf moulds for you, allowing you to successfully create your sweet Alsatian Kougelhopf. These stoneware moulds from Soufflenheim add extra authenticity to your culinary experience.
To prepare Alsatian Sweet Kougelhopf, you can use either a food processor or a bread machine, depending on your kitchen equipment.
The Alsatian Sweet Kougelhopf Preparation Kit is available in French, German and English, with international reach.

Ingredients
Wheat flour type 55, raisins, semolina sugar, whole egg powder, whole almonds, dehydrated baker's yeast, fine salt, emulsifier E491.
Allergens: Contains gluten, eggs, sulphites, tree nuts. Possible traces of milk and soya.
Made in a workshop that uses dairy products.
Net weight: 650 gr
Additional products required:
- 160 ml lukewarm water
- 105 g butter or margarine at room temperature
- Optional: a small glass of Alsatian eau de vie
