The Estivales of Obernai 2025

For the 20th edition of the Estivales, to be held from 5 July to 2 August, the organisers wanted to make a lasting impression and thank the public.

At the end of the 2024 season, Isabelle Obrecht, president of the festival committee and deputy mayor of Obernai, was already thinking about the 20th edition of the Estivales.

She wanted to make a lasting impression and thank the Obernai public for their loyalty to the event.

She wanted to make a lasting impression by bringing in a big name from show business, and thank the public by letting them relive the best moments they'd experienced on the marketplace.

Looking at the programme, it's no exaggeration to say that they've found the right formula.

Gilbert Montagné opens the show

Saturday 5 July 2025

He has made generations of people dance and sing along with his hits that everyone can sing along to.

Gilbert Montagné will be launching the 2025 season on Saturday 5 July. This big-hearted man is sure to win you over once again, putting the summer season on the launch pad for a season that will go down in history.

Switch Group

Saturday 12 July

The generous group Switch, from the Bruche valley, with Jyzzel at the microphone, will be back on 12 July. It's an opportunity to discover the creations the singer has been working on since her last, hugely successful appearance in July 2023 in the marketplace.

Robin Léon, star of the Schlagger

Saturday 19 July

Another almost-local artist is the Schlagger's superstar Robin Léon, who, after managing to keep the public hooked on his show last August despite the deplorable weather, will be determined to unleash the fire once again on the square on 19 July.

Johnny Vegas returns

Saturday 26th July

This year will also see the return of Johnny Vegas, but this time he won't be alone as he was in 2023. Together with his bandmates Eddy Deville and Gabriel Mailly - the latter having already been spotted playing a couple of songs during Johnny's previous appearance - they will be putting on their tribute show to the old scoundrels, which promises to be a top-class affair on 26 July.

U2 Project

Saturday 2 August

Finally, to add a more structured rock touch, the group U2 Project, formed in 2013, will close this edition on 2 August, covering the standards of Bono's band.

It's a great line-up, with full orchestras on stage and some excellent musicians, all of whom the public will be delighted to meet again or discover, while enjoying the usual warm welcome from DJ Beck's and the Festival Committee volunteers, who are delighted to be celebrating this 20th edition with them.
