Recipe idea for Bibeleskaes (Alsatian cottage cheese)

We present one of the many variations of a typical Alsatian meal...

The Bibeleskaes is a dish based on fried potatoes accompanied by raw ham and fromage blanc seasoned with herbs.

Ingredients :

  • potatoes
  • ham
  • cottage cheese
  • parsley
  • onion and garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • oil

Serving suggestion:

Recipe:

Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes and soak them in water for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Drain them and dry them in a cloth.

In a frying pan with a little oil, sauté the potatoes for 20 minutes, covered, turning them regularly.

Mix the cottage cheese with the chopped parsley, onion and finely chopped garlic and season.

For the quantities, make according to your taste.

Bon Appétit !
